The following is a selected list of resources on Baptist history, doctrine, polity, ministry, and organization. No attempt has been made to make this list comprehensive. Only a few items have been listed under each category. Most of the items relate to Baptists in the United States but some of the resources contain information about Baptists in other parts of the world. The list majors on Baptist beliefs, polities, and practices and contains very few biographical resources about Baptist Christians.

A book commissioned by the Baptist Distinctives Committee of the Baptist General Convention of Texas to share the Baptist story from a biblical, historical, and contemporary perspective.
